CHARITY FRENCH DISTANCE RUNNER ON NEWHAVEN STOPOVER

July 4 2014.

French charity runner, Philippe Alexandre, from the town of Caudebec en Caux, will be passing through Newhaven on Sunday, the 6th of July, as part of his epic run from London to his home town to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières.

Philippe will be arriving at Lewes Road Recreation Ground at about 5.00pm on Sunday, where he will be greeted by the Mayor and by the Maestro Players who will play some music to welcome him to the town.

If you are in the area of the Recreation Ground on Sunday, why not go along to give him a cheer and help to give him a great Newhaven welcome?

Philippe will set off for France on the morning ferry on Monday in order to continue his run to Caudebec en Caux, which is on the river Seine, mid-way between Rouen and Le Havre.
