NEW TOWNS AND DOWNS WANDERER BUS SERVICE

June 24 2014.

Fancy a day out in the gorgeous East Sussex countryside? CTLA [Community Transport] has launched a brand new bus service. The Towns and Downs Wanderer will operate on Summer Sundays and Bank Holidays until the end of September 2014.

CTLA minibuses will provide access to some areas that larger vehicles cannot reach. Serving Newhaven, Lewes, Ditchling and Hassocks the service also provides the unique opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views of the Sussex landscape from the top of Firle Beacon. There are plenty of places on the route to stop to eat and drink. If you are feeling energetic there are lots of lovely walks to enjoy.

You can also visit a number of tourist attractions including Newhaven Fort, Paradise Park [Newhaven], Newhaven Museum, Ann of Cleeves House and the Castle in Lewes and Ditchling Museum of Arts and Crafts.

You can also buy an all-day Explorer ticket so you can hop on and hop off at your leisure or, if you have one, can use your concessionary bus pass.

For more details, including a timetable and a detailed route description visit www.ctla.org.uk or phone CTLA on 01273 517332.
