TRUCK THEFT IN SEAFORD


June 23 2014.

Police in Seaford are appealing for information following the theft of a goods vehicle from Seaford. The vehicle, a Mercedes 7.5 tonne flatbed lorry was stolen overnight between Friday the 20th of June and Saturday the 21st from the Timber Requirements Yard in Steyne Road, after one of the gates to the yard was taken off of its hinges. The red, fully signwritten lorry, which was empty at the time of the theft, was later found abandoned in Cowley Drive, Woodingdean.

Sergeant Stuart Mullins said; "Anybody with any information about this incident is asked to contact us via 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 367 of 21/6. You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.".
