DRIFTWOOD OPENS FOR 2014 SEASON

June 5 2014.

Driftwood, the multi award-winning local garden in Bishopstone, opens for the first time in 2014 for the National Gardens Scheme next Tuesday, the 10th of June.

Driftwood has teamed up with the Geffyre Museum in 2014 to submit a photo/narrative diary of activities and events taking place in the garden throughout 2014.

The Geffrye Museum is devoted to the history of the home, showing how homes and gardens reflect changes in society, behaviour, style and taste over the past 400 years. The Driftwood diary and images will become part of the Documenting Homes Project.

All visitors will be invited to take part by completing a short questionnaire and having their photo taken.

The usual tea and cakes will be served on vintage china in the garden.
