JUST THE TICKET

May 29 2014.

As part of the Seaford Rail 150 event, celebrating 150 years of trains between Brighton and Seaford, a special ticket has gone on sale. The limited edition numbered tickets are Souvenir Platform Tickets for Seaford. A similar Lewes ticket is on sale in Lewes.

Each town has 1,000 of these authentically-printed tickets, and those for Seaford are on sale at the Tourist Information Centre in Church Street, and Toytown Toyshop in High Street. They cost just £2.00 and all the proceeds go to the international charity 'Railway Children' helping street children. They will also be available on Saturday the  7th of June at the Gala Event at Seaford Station.

Seaford Museum, in the Martello Tower, will also be open that day with two railway displays, one enhanced by railway - themed music composed by students at Seaford Head School.
