ACCIDENT - NEWHAVEN TO SEAFORD ROAD REOPENED

The A259 Newhaven to Seaford road was closed in both directions earlier this afternoon following an accident involving a bus and a number of cars between Stud Farm and the layby.
Update: 4.12pm. The bus driver has been air-lifted to hospital. The road remains closed.
Update: 4.34pm. Some Seaford to Newhaven traffic moving through slowly under police control.
Update: 4.49pm. Traffic flowing normally in both directions at Stud Farm.
