Despite the inclement weather and the fact that it was also Easter Sunday, ten Friends of Tide Mills, including one very welcome new member, completed its April meeting. Eight sacks of assorted rubbish were collected and we were pleased to see that most of the rubbish that accumulated over the winter gales is now largely cleared.

Some of the vegetated shingle plants are now in bud, Wheatears, Skylarks and Swallows are active - Fantastic.

Our next meeting is Sunday the 18th May, (always the third Sunday of each month), meeting at 10am at the waymarker adjacent to the beach at the road leading from the level crossing. Our meetings last nominally for two hours but all are welcome no matter how much time can be spared.
