SHARED SPACE ON SEAFORD SEAFRONT LAUNCHES WITH SUCCESS

April 17 2014.

Seaford’s pilot scheme for shared space along Seaford seafront was launched on Sunday 13 April. Liberal Democrat Councillor Carolyn Lambert comments: “It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the seafront and especially all the families out in the sunshine making use of one of the town’s favourite spots.

"Congratulations are due to Cycle Seahaven who have campaigned hard for this shared space and I hope that many more people will join this excellent voluntary organisation. Mr Cycles, Seaford’s own cycle shop, provided free advice and maintenance and Wave Leisure’s static bikes with their excellent instructor were great fun and a sure fire way to keep fit!

"I hope that as many people as possible will use this facility and share their experiences. It would be good to have Wave Leisure and their static bikes as a regular feature during the summer as well.”
