Newhaven Social Club will be hosting a night with internationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Murray on Monday April 14th for a very intimate and unique show.

Murray was lead vocalist for King Apparatus; one of the hardest-working, hardest-rockin’ Ska bands in action in the early 1990s and is now a unique force on today's music scene.


Born in Toronto, he earned a strong reputation as a dynamic performer and gifted songwriter. He relocated to Los Angeles, emerging as a solo artist, and entered into LA’s ultra-purist rock steady scene armed only with an acoustic guitar!
He has also co-written with and produced albums for Montreal‘s Planet Smashers and eclectic NYC supergroup Da Whole Thing. His writing credits have also appeared on releases by Hepcat, The Slackers, Skavoovie & The Epitones and Stubborn All Stars,

His musical journeys have taken him throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.
