TOOLS STOLEN FROM VANS IN SEAFORD

February 25 2014.

Thieves broke into two vans parked near a building site in Marine Parade, Seaford, in an effort to steal tools. A £398 orange coloured Paslo nail gun was stolen along with Oakley sunglasses when the door of a white Astra van was forced open around lunchtime on Thursday, 20 February. That morning a Mercedes Benz Vito van had its front passenger side door damage in an attempt to gain entry.

Sergeant Stuart Mullins said: "Both vehicles belonged to tradesmen working at a nearby building site and it is thought that both vehicles were targeted specifically for tools. If anybody saw anything or knows the whereabouts of the stolen items they are asked to contact police on 101 or 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
