The owner/developer of the Parker Pen site in Newhaven is holding a public exhibition and consultation at Meeching Hall in Newhaven on Thursday from 4.00pm through to 7.00pm.

The architects for the developer say that a leaflet has been distributed to 300 homes in the area of the proposed development, outlining the plans for the site which include 105 two, three and four bedroom houses, 43 one and two bedroom apartments, a 200 seat community hall, a 25% increase in the size of the current recreation ground and an unspecified amount of ‘affordable housing’.

The developer is inviting local residents to comment on these outline plans.
