The NCDA Healthy Lifestyles project goes head to head tonight as finalists for a grant to help the foodbank and community kitchen service, Food 4 Seahaven, to recruit and train volunteers to deliver community cookery sessions and health and food hygiene training.

The project will set up Seahaven Community Kitchen, to complement the existing food bank. Food bank beneficiaries will be offered cookery sessions and advice on other issues such as debt and budget management.

The telephone number to vote goes live tonight, Monday the 25th of November, and the project workers will appear on Merdian Tonight between 6.00pm and 6.30pm.
