HALLOWEEN FUN AT THE FORT

From Saturday the 26th of October until Sunday the 3rd of November Newhaven Fort has plenty to offer the whole family this half term.

Start the holiday with a bang by visiting Hands on History’s WW2 paintball firing range on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October - A small extra charge will apply. Hands on History will also be providing presentations on ‘Medicine Through the Ages’ on Sunday 27th October.

If you’re feeling creative you can go along and make some scary treats in the Halloween Craft Workshops taking place on Wednesday 30th October at 12:00, 1:30pm and 3:00pm - Over 5s only, limited availability and must be booked in advance. 

If it’s creepy creatures you’re after then visit the ‘Jaws and Claws’ animal handling sessions at 1.30pm and 2.45pm on Thursday 31st October.

On the 2nd of November, Filmspot touring cinema returns with a screening of the classic Ghostbusters (1984) [PG]. The screening begins at 2.00pm. Tickets are priced at £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for children and can be purchased in advance from Newhaven Fort.

If all that’s not enough, there are questions to answer and riddles to solve in the spooky family quiz trail, running daily.

The spooky Searchlight Café will be open throughout the week where you will find a range of wholesome snacks, homemade soups and Halloween cakes.
