October 9 2013.

Police in Seaford are appealing for information after a number of cars were damaged over the weekend. A group of youths were reported to be throwing stones at a parked vehicle whilst the owner was sitting in it in Vale Road. Seaford, at 11.20pm on Saturday 5 October.

This incident has been linked with two other reports of damage at about the same time in Chichester Road, where a grey coloured BMW had its wing mirrors damaged and a blue Renault Scenic had its windscreen wipers damaged.

It is thought that a group of around five to seven youths were responsible. They are described as being aged about 15 to 17 and wearing skinny jeans and hoodies with the hoods up. One was wearing a striped blue, white and red hoody. Another was described as being 5' 4', and wearing jogging bottoms, a tee shirt and a black and white beanie hat.

A wing mirror of a car parked in Kedale Road was also damaged at about 11pm.

Police are asking for anyone who knows the identity of the youths or has any other information to contact them on 101 quoting serial 1757 of 05/10 or email contact.centre@sussex.pnn.police.uk
