TWO GIRLS ARRESTED IN SEAFORD FOR THEFT

Two girls have been charged with theft in Seaford and robbery in Hove last weekend. The two 14-year-old girls were arrested in Warwick Road, Seaford at 12.30am on Saturday after a report that a mobile phone had been stolen.


The two girls, one fron Hove and one from Brighton, were subsequently interviewed by police about the matter and an earlier robbery in Elm Drive, Hove, where a girl had a quantity of cash stolen. They have both been charged with the theft of the phone in Seaford and the robbery from Hove and have been bailed to appear before Brighton Youth Court on 18 October.
