Animal lovers were treated to Paradise Park's first 'Animal Rescue Weekend' last weekend. The event had been organized to raise people's awareness of the plight of wild animals whose habitats and lives have become endangered.

One of those charities in attendance was Wildlife A & E, who are a not for profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of all native species. The organisation assists in animal rescues, rehabilitate injured animals, hand rear orphaned young animals and nurse sick animals back to health. As a special treat they had brought 'Ozzy' the owl, who delighted the crowds with his sheer cuteness!
