Seaford Live! kicks off today, with a fine mix of music and entertainment keeping it live round that side of the Haven right though until next Sunday, the 15th. All proceeds from Seaford Live! go to Chestnut Tree House, the Children's Hospice care centre, so get out there and support the events and this wonderful facility. Of course Newhaven has it's share of fun and entertainment with the annual Fete de Newhaven adding the touch of France to the ever-improving High Street Market in the town centre tomorrow morning, and the Riverside Park Community Voice Fun Afternoon filling out the afternoon.

On Saturday and Sunday, Artwave, the Lewes District Council art festival, continues at Driftwood Garden in Bishopstone, where 12 artists work is displayed in the stunning garden setting.
