The annual Britain of Britain Commemoration Day will start at 10:30am on Sunday the 15th of September with a special programme of events and activities throughout the day.

Visitors will step back in time when the entertainment begins with a performance from the Seaford Silver Band, playing classic war time tunes, followed by a 1940s dance display by Studio Tempo in the atmospheric Romney Hut.
The singing duo, the Swingtime Sweethearts are back, along with first-time visitors Puttin' on the Blitz barbershop quartet, who will be transporting visitors back to the era with their 1940s songs.
An array of period military vehicles will be setting the scene on the Fort's parade ground throughout the day and there will be a number of living history groups on site to help create that perfect WWII atmosphere. And if you get in the mood and want to blend in you can visit the Pretty Pout vintage hair salon, (additional charges apply).
The Fort's fascinating displays, under 12's adventure playground, Searchlight Café and Guard Room gift shop will also be open for visitors to enjoy.
Tickets are priced at £6.00 for adults, £5.00 concessions and £4.00 for children and can be purchased on the door.
