Dust off your diamonds! Hollywood glamour is coming to Seaford this September when Seaford Community Cinema will host an Oscar Night At The Cinema with composer Stephen Warbeck and a screening of Shakespeare In Love. Stephen will be talking about his music and he's promised to bring his friend Oscar too!

The cinema opens a new film programme on September the 27th at 7.30pm with a screening of Shakespeare in Love and star guest, the composer Stephen Warbeck, whose original score for the film won a coveted Academy Award for Best Original Score. Stephen's film credits are numerous and include Mrs Brown, Billy Elliott, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, and Charlotte Gray.

Following a successful first year the Cinema will be showing 24 films in a new programme including world cinema, arthouse, contemporary and selected recent releases. Thanks to this success, ticket and membership prices have been held and members now receive greater benefits, including a £1.00 discount on tickets.

Seaford Community Cinema is a voluntary not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. Being local the cinema is a low-cost and convenient alternative to traveling to a multiplex in neighbouring Brighton or Eastbourne.

The film programme, tickets, newsletter and membership are all available online at or at Seaford Tourist Office and also on the door at performances.

Tickets for Oscar Night At The Cinema are available from the 30th of August.
