Letter from Mr Grumpy - Monday 12th Aug at 10.45pm.

I was looking out from my front window just a few minutes ago and was puzzled by a very bright light on the sea wall in the West Beach Car Park.

I then realised what I was looking at was a 'welding arc'.

What in fact is happening is that NPP is welding new very high railings in place at 10.30pm at night. Now why would they do that at this time of night?

I think possibly the answer might be to further strengthen the barriers that prevent access to the West Beach.

Perhaps this is in response to the forthcoming planned 'Party on the Beach'.

But why do it at this time of night other than they don't want people to know what's going on!
