FIRE EXTINQUISHERS STOLEN IN SEAFORD

Police are appealing for information following the theft of 17 fire extinguishers from a building site in Dane Road, Seaford.
 

The extinguishers were stolen from the site of the Old Beachcomber pub sometime between 4.30pm on Friday the 28th of June and 8.40pm on Thursday the 4th of July.

The extinguishers which are valued at £80 each, are all red in colour and consist of nine power ones
and eight Chubb water filled ones.

PC Ali Batchelor said: "This is quite an unusual theft and we are asking anyone with any information to contact us. These items are quite distinctive and if anyone is offered a cheap fire extinguisher I would urge them to let us know."

Anyone with information should ring 101 quoting serial 0313 of 4/7.
