LIVELY DISCUSSION AT THE OLD BOOT

June 21 2013

There was a lively discussion amongst around twenty local traders and business people at the Seaford Chamber of Commerce Catch Up and Network meeting at the Old Boot yesterday evening.

The focus of attention was the proposal by Councillor Paul Frankliin to have periodic closures of Broad Street for events. There was considerable opposition to the idea of any Broad Street closures, but there was a near unanimous wish expressed for more events at the Martello Fields and The Salts, and good signage and people management to link these venues with the town centre.
