CHILDREN OF CHERNOBYL VISIT SEAFORD HEAD

June 17 2013.

Last Friday a group of 16 Children of Chernobyl visited Seaford Head School together with Sheila Nash of the Friends of Chernobyl's Children (Mid-Sussex) charity, and two interpreters Ira and Sergie. John Owen, then President of the Rotary Club of Seaford, initiated this activity in 2010, and this was the fourth time the school has hosted the children, who are aged between eight and 12.

This year's programme included climbing on the school's climbing wall, a light-hearted drama session, a musical experience and lunch, all helped by a select group of Seaford Head students.
