CELEBRATE SMALL CHARITY WEEK

June 3 2013.

The Seaford Musical Theatre (SMT) and Juniors are taking part in the 2013 National Small Charity Week (17th-22nd June). Started by the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) in 2010 the week's events celebrate and raise the profile of the small charity sector.

The 'Great Big Small Charity Quiz' is taking place at the Hampden Arms, South Heighton, from 8.00pm on Wednesday the 19th of June. It costs £10 for a pre-booked team of four.

'Back To The Barn' is a movie-themed variety show from 7.30pm on Saturday the 22nd of June at the Barn Theatre, Seaford, featuring SMT performers and 'Up The Tempo' dance school and will be attended by Norman Baker, MP.

Tickets for all events can be booked at: www.ticketsource.co.uk/thebarntheatre

The Barn Theatre, run by the SMT, is home to the adult and award-winning junior performing groups, the Seaford Community Cinema and offers a low cost venue for local and travelling artists and fundraising events. The Barn is undergoing extensive renovations in 2013, including disabled access and facilities installation, redecoration and replacement of equipment, supported by the Keith Baker Charitable Trust, Co-operative Membership Community Fund and theatre patrons, with the rest of the cost being met by fundraising events.
