Newhaven Historical Society's June meeting will feature a talk by Monty Larkin on the South Downs of East Sussex - a visual amble across the eastern South Downs taking in geology, some local history; farming past and present and wildlife.

The speaker, who has been involved with protection of this beautiful area for much of his life, will elaborate on some of the problems that it faces and, some of his experiences.

It takes place at the Hillcrest Centre, Hillcrest Road, Newhaven on Tuesday the 4th of June at 7.30pm.

Guests are welcome to attend at just £2.00 entry.
