EASTER ACTION AT NEWHAVEN FORT

If you are looking for somewhere certain to entertain the whole family this Easter, look no further than Newhaven Fort
. From Saturday 30 March to Monday 1 April the Fort staff will be joined by local historical events company, 'Hands on History,' who will be helping visitors fire paintballs from replica WW2 guns and make their own gas masks and leather dog tags.

If its animals you're after, then visit on Monday the 1st of April when Jaws 'n' Claws returns at 1.30pm and 2.45pm with a selection of creatures to cuddle - if you dare! Or get creative on Thursday the 4th of April in the children's Easter craft workshops, taking place at 11.30am, 12.45pm, 2.15pm and 3.30pm. Places on all of these workshops must be booked in advance.
 
From April the 6th to the 14th the Fort will host the 'Stitch for Victory' touring exhibition from Eastbourne's Redoubt Fortress, and there will be knitting workshops to compliment the display on the 6th and 7th of April. All this and the Family Quiz Trail, which will be running daily throughout the school holidays.

All of the Fort's fascinating displays, Searchlight Café and Guard Room gift shop will also be open as usual.

The fun doesn't end when the holidays are over. On Sunday the 21st of April, the Sussex British Motorcycle Owners Club will host their annual fundraising rally. Go along and see a spectacular gathering of classic British motorcycles and enjoy music and entertainment throughout the day.
