FOOD FOR THOUGHT HITS THE MARK

December 17 2012.

Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors performed 'Food For Thought', a sketch show set in a restaurant, on the 14th and 15th of December at the Barn Theatre in Seaford and the cast, aged between 8 and 17, received rave reviews from the audience.

Due to ill health, understudies Alice Lawrence, Danny Woolven and Jade Rogers took on additional roles at very short notice and gave marvellous performances.

In the true spirit of Christmas, the young actors donated part of the proceeds of their shows to Children With Cancer (Polegate) and Haydn's Wish, in loving memory of local children Rhys Watkins and Haydn Wileman, who were known to cast members.

Seaford Musical Theatre's next show is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Alan Frayn from the 23rd to the 27th of January. Tickets are available from the Seaford Tourist Information Office in Broad Street.

The Junior section will be performing their original pantomime 'Aladdin' in March 2013.
