HAVEN NEWS WEEKEND PREVIEW

So is it a rest before the storm or have the Happy Haven event organisers forgotten to tell us what they have in store for us this weekend? As ever - get out there and support those who are trying...

Friday night and the only place to go apparently is the Hampden Arms up at South Heighton, where Railroad are playing from around the 9.00pm mark.

Saturday morning and it's the Christmas Market at the Clinton Centre in Seaford from 10.00am through to 4.00pm. and at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven, the Hillcrest Film Society is showing Some Like It Hot, starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis at 4.15pm and 7.30pm.

Back to the Hampden Arms in the evening and the local Childrens Choir is singing carols round the tree, followed by the Monthly Jam Night at 8.30pm. Over at the Old Boot Inn John Crampton is playing from 8.00pm.

On to Sunday and the Tide Mills Monthly Beach Clean-up. 10:00am - 12:00pm. Tide Mills beach between Bishopstone and Newhaven. No membership fees, just turn up and start picking!
