SEAFORD TOWN FC SUPPORT WHITE RIBBON CAMPAIGN

November 28 2012.

Seaford Town Football Club will be supporting the White Ribbon Campaign during their home match with Little Common FC on Saturday 1 December.

The club has given their full support to this campaign which urges men and boys to wear a white ribbon as visible pledges never to commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.

The campaign will be ongoing for the next two years, with the overall aim to eliminate domestic violence. The match at The Crouch recreation ground, Bramber Lane, Seaford, will kick off at 3.00pm.

Members of the local neighbourhood policing team will be on hand to answer questions and to help raise awareness of domestic abuse, which is an under-reported crime.

Police community engagement officer Lizzie Ryan said: "Come along to the match, show your support and find out more about how you can help to stop domestic violence."
