A mixed bag of weather in store for us this coming weekend and, as ever, a mixed bag of entertainment and things to do, with a fine selection of music, film, theatre and the monthly clean up at Tidemills. So get out there, get dancing, get listening, get watching and get cleaning!


Friday 16th November
Random live at The Hope. Rock and more from top local band and all for Children in Need. From 9.00pm.

Fat Belly Jones at The Hampden Arms, South Heighton for Dave and Mikela's third year anniversary at the pub. The 7, 8 or even 9 piece ska and soul band playing toons you can't help jumping to.

Welcome to Nutsville at The Ark. Great band at a great pub. From 9.00pm

Saturday 17th November
Lunchtime Charity Concert for St. Cecilia's Day. Buxted Symphony Orchestra. 1.00pm. St. Leonard's Church, Seaford. Concerts last approx. one hour and remains free and self-supporting from donations given by the audience.

Hillcrest Film Society - The Guard. 7.30pm at the Hillcrest Centre, Newhaven. Cafe opens at 6.45pm. Sold out but there may be returns on the door.

Reggae Magic live at The Old Boot Inn, Seaford. Reggae and Ska from 9.00pm.

The Riffz live at The Ark. Always a great night with this talented band. From around 9.00pm

Sunday 18th November
Tide Mills Monthly Beach Clean-up. 10:00am - 12:00pm. Tide Mills beach between Bishopstone and Newhaven. No membership fees, just turn up and start picking!
