AMBERS WIN TOP NATIONAL FLORISTRY AWARDS

Tracey and Michael Ward, proprietors of Ambers Florists in Seaford, are celebrating after winning three top national floristry awards
.
The British Florist Association Industry Awards 2012 took place on Saturday 27th October at a Gala Dinner as part of the British Florist Association FleurEx weekend. Ambers was shortlisted in the top three in the following categories of the awards: "Employer of the Year", "Newcomer of the Year" and "Delivery Driver of the Year".
 
Ambers was up against hundreds of competitors from around the country and achieved 1st Place in "Driver of the Year" Peter and Trish Blaber. "Newcomer of the Year" Georgia Tait, 2nd Place in "Employer of the year" Ambers Florist.

Tracey Ward said: "Just to be nominated was very exciting. We did not believe it at first. We were also delighted that our training accessor, Kay Stone from Keits, had also been nominated for a Teaching Award."

Michael added: "It is testimony to the hard work of all our staff, even through the hard times, that we should be rewarded in such a way by our industry at a national level. Our thanks go to them all for their continued support and commitment to quality and customer service."

A formal awards presentation will take place on Monday 12th November at 10.30am at Ambers Florist in Broad Street.
