ROTARY CLUB LAUNCHES YOUNG CHEF COMPETITION

October 5 2012.

Can you cook? Do you live or go to school in the BN25 area? Were you aged between 11 and 17 years on 31 August 2012? If so you may like to enter the Seaford Rotary Club's competition to find the Seaford Young Chef of the Year 2012.

Following the success of the Club's Young Musician of the Year contest earlier this year, the competition will be held at Newlands School Seaford during the morning of Saturday 10th of November, when contestants will be asked to prepare a healthy two course meal consisting of a starter or dessert and a main course costing not more than £10.

Rules for the competition and entry forms can be downloaded from the Club's website at www.seafordrotary.org.uk

There is no charge to enter and the cost of ingredients will be refunded by the organisers. Only a limited number of places are available, so budding chefs are advised to get their entries in well before the closing date on Wednesday 31st October.

The Club will shortly announce its second Young Musicians Competition to be held in March 2013 and also a competition for Young Writers, with three age groups from 7 to 10 years, 11 to 13 years and 14 to 17 years.
