September 28 2012.

The weekend is here and the wet weather is behind us - maybe. So let's all hit the Haven highlights this weekend and enjoy the music, and indeed the MAD Music Hall of Fun 2, the art, the dancing and more!

The MAD Music Hall of Fun kicked off it's short run last night and repeats tonight and tomorrow noght at the Meeching Hall in Newhaven. For Amanda' Wilkins' review CLICK HERE.

Elsewhere in Newhaven the music continues at The Ark with a B.P.M Drum & Bass Party and DJ from 9.00pm, at the Hampden Arms with The Elevators, giving it the Blues from 9.00pm and at The White Hart, Stash, a Rock n Roll covers band also from 9.00pm.

If you think that the music is restricted to Newhaven tonight then.... well, it looks like you are right. Come on Seaford - WAKE UP!

On to Saturday morning and once again it is all Newhaven with Zumba! Drag your body up to the Hillcrest Centre from 9.30 to 10.30 and then skip merrily on down to the High Street to snatch a bargain or two at the Newhaven Market. There is also a Car Boot Sale at Paradise Park from 9am - 12pm.

From Saturday through to Thursday 4th October, Rottingdean Artist, Rob Upward makes his debut exhibition at Seaford's Crypt Gallery from 10am. Free admission. For details email dawn.thompson@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk or call 01323 894870

Saturday night and top pub band Full House (pictured ubove) return to The Ark from around 9.00pm and Seaford finaly comes alive on the music front with the Parish Barn Dance at St Lukes Church from 7.00pm.

That appears to be it for this week....
