Mike Weatherley, the rock-loving MP for Hove and Portslade, will be the special guest next week at a new musical, 'We Built This City', about a futuristic city built on the principles of Rock and Roll, at The Barn Theatre in Seaford.
 
Mr Weatherley, the founder of the 'Rock The House', a Parliamentary live music and venue competition, is passionate about small, live music venues and will be entertained with songs by Queen, Alice Cooper, Elvis and other rock greats, sung by the Seaford Musical Theatre cast.

Writer and director, Paula Woolven, said; "I know Mike has met many great rock stars, including Alice Cooper himself, and I hope he enjoys our tribute to some of the finest performers over the last fifty years. We are delighted that he is supporting our small, friendly theatre group."

The show runs from 12-15 September and tickets are available from Seaford Tourist Information Centre, Church Street, Seaford.
