SEAFORD FARMERS MARKET PROMISES LOCAL DELIGHTS - UPDATE.

August 30 2012.

UPDATE: Oops! We were a bit ahead of ourselves there. The Market actually starts on Thursday OCTOBER the 4th, not September the 4th, which is, of course, a Tuesday...

Seaford Farmers Market is a new venture which has been set up by Cathy Murphy, a local food entrepreneur, who runs Sussex Kitchen in Seaford. The market is planned as a weekly event to be held at the Clinton Hall in Seaford every Thursday, starting on October the 4th.

Talking to locals, Cathy discovered there is a huge demand for fresh local produce in the Haven area and Clinton Hall is an ideal location for an indoor Farmers Market, being situated on the main A259 in the heart of Seaford, with a large passing trade and local parking.

Products will include Speciality Breads, Cheeses, Preserves, Meats, Eggs, Honey, Homemade Cakes, Homemade Savouries, and more, as the list of standholders continues to rise.

So aim for Clinton Hall on Thursday October the 4th from 9.00am to 1.00pm, to sample some of the delights of Sussex, and take a selection home for your friends and family.
