SEAFORD QUALITY STREET SUCCESS

August 26 2012.

Today's Seaford Quality Street exercise was blessed with bright and breezy weather and was hailed a resounding success, with the various members of the Community Safety Partnership all engaging with the public to give advice and information on their various services.

Seaford Police were on hand to offer advice on matters ranging from bicycle security to parking restrictions. Seaford Lifeguards were highlighting public safety on the beach and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service gave information on fire safety on the beach. Local animal wardens were also on hand to give advice and the local environment agency led a beach clean-up.  Seaford Town Councillors were also on hand to discuss local council matters.

The day ended with a presentation of a cheque for £250 from the Police Property Fund to Seaford Lifeguards.
