East Sussex Highways has advised that road works to sections of the A259 between Newhaven and Seaford will take place over a period of 13 working days from 3 September 2012.
The specialist work will be carried out in two phases and will involve cracking and stabilising the concrete road.
Two-way traffic lights will be in place from 9.30am to 4.00pm starting Monday 3 September for seven days and then again Wednesday 12 September for a further six days.
Significant traffic delays are anticipated.
