SEAFORD COUNCILLOR ON THE RUN AGAIN

August 2 2012.

Long distance runner and Seaford Town Councillor, Adrian Campbell, is taking part in the Beachy Head marathon on Saturday 27 October and will be raising funds through sponsorship for the Seaford Mayor's charities for this year; the Seaford Down's Syndrome and Special Needs Support Group and the St James' Trust.

The Beachy Head marathon was voted one of the top ten marathons by runnersworld.co.uk and attracts around 1750 runners. Starting at St Bede's School in Eastbourne it returns to the finishing line at Beachy Head road.

Councillor Campbell, who runs for the Seaford Striders running club, raised a massive £600 in sponsorship for the Mayors Charity, WAVES Family Support Service in 2011, whilst running the Berlin marathon, and anyone wishing to sponsor him for this October's race can contact Paula Woolven, Mayor's Secretary at Seaford Town Council on 01323 894870 or email paula.woolven@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk
