Members of both Seaford Rotary Clubs gave a collective sigh of relief when they awoke on Sunday 22 July. The weather was not only fine, but very good indeed! Time to construct the Tavern in the Tent again for the first time since the Jubilee celebration on June 4.

At the Downs Leisure Centre, home for the Seaford Family Funday, members were soon putting up the tents and flags, laying out tables and chairs, and stocking up the bar with beers, ciders, wines, Pimms, and soft drinks.

Throughout the glorious afternoon there was a steady stream of visitors - and other stall holders - dropping in for refreshments.

All proceeds went to charities and good causes, so yet another top job by the Rotary Club of Seaford and Seaford Martello Rotary Club.
