On 29 July 2012, Newhaven Fort will be offering visitors the chance to take part in a day of good old-fashioned fun and games.

Visitors of all ages will be encouraged to play games that were popular with children in the 1940s and 1950s, including skipping, hopscotch and an egg and spoon challenge!

Prizes will be given to visitors who have a go at all five of the activities in our not-so-modern pentathlon. Once you have worked up an appetite with all those games, the Fort's Searchlight Café will be there to help you boost your energy supplies for another go!

The Fort's permanent displays and gift shop will also be open as usual. Newhaven Fort is open from 10:30am - 6pm (last admission 5pm).
