Architectural design company, STL Planning and Design, completed its move to Newhaven earlier this week, having outgrown its previous headquarters in Polgate.

STL was formed in 2006, providing a range of architectural design services, including commercial and residential planning applications, building regulation submissions, and a complete design service for all types of internal and external space. Retail design has been the company's specialty, working with many national and local companies to create attractive, successful and efficient environments.

With a rapidly expanding staff structure required to service an ever-growing client list, the search for a new base started nearly two years ago. "We quickly identified Newhaven as the ideal location," explained STL director, Simon Tucker. "Newhaven is forging ahead out of the recession and has a lot to offer. We aim to move upwards and onwards with the town."
