The Tavern in the Tent, a joint venture by both of the Seaford Rotary Clubs, was in action again last Monday at the Seaford Town Council Diamond Jubilee celebration.

Many people came to the event at the Martello Fields in Seaford, despite the unimpressive weather, and it seemed most of them came to visit the Tavern! The bar was very busy and apologies are offered to some late comers to the bar - By closing time it had all but sold out. However, nearly £3000 was raised for charities and good causes, and many thanks are due to all who gave their support.

The next Tavern outing will be at the Seaford Family Funday at the Downs Leisure Centre, Seaford on Sunday 22 July, and all will be warmly welcomed.
