The Newhaven Fish Festival and Dieppe Market to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee starts at 10am today at Huggett's Green on the West Quay. This Year's event includes not just the headline Fish Festival and Dieppe Market, but also a  Childrens Parade, Live Music, Childrens entertainment, Community Olympix and lots more.

The Festival contiunes through to 4.00pm and then Huggett's Green is again the venue for the Newhaven Twinning Association Barn Dance at 7.00pm. There is a licenced bar and  Hog Roast and guests from Newhaven's twin town of La Chapelle Saint Mesmin are there to tell you about their town on the banks of the River Loire on the outskirts of Orléans. Tickets are just £5.00 from Meeching Estates in the High Street.
