Michael Cooney's riotous farce, 'Cash on Delivery' has enjoyed success both in Europe and all across the United States with this unusual offering. Identity theft is usually not the stuff of combustible comedy, but when it results in mistaken identities, mixed signals, ill-timed interruptions and the rest of the detritus of classic farce, it becomes a comical tour de force.

This farce centres around the antics of Eric Swan, who (aided by his Uncle George and unbeknown to his wife Linda), has pocketed thousands of pounds through fraudulent DSS claims. Throw in the antics of the lodger, Norman, an undertaker, bereavement counsellor, a psychiatrist, fiancée, corpse and a rebellious washing-machine and you have a very funny evening's entertainment.
