Another weekend beckons and as ever there is plenty to do, listen and dance to. So get out there and enjoy it!

Kick off Friday night by having a quick clear-out and take your jumble down to the Riverside Hall for tomorrow's Mencap Jumble Sale or to South Heighton Village Hall for tomorrow's South Heighton Jumble Sale.

Over at Seaford you can enjoy a Night at the Museum at the Martello Tower. For details call 01323 898222.

Seaford doesn't get all the culture because back in Newhaven, Meeching Amateur Dramatics presents "Cash on Delivery", a fast moving comedy by Michael Cooner at the Meeching Hall from 7.45pm.

On the music front AKA - (Also known as AKA) are up at The Hampden Arms from 9.00pm and Stash are at the White Hart, also from 9.00pm.

If Karaoke is your thing then join Dangerous Brian at The Ship from 8.00pm

And don't forget the bridges at 9.20pm and 11.45pm tonight!

On to Saturday and once again it's your chance to take in the Zumba Fitness Class from 9:30 - 10:30am at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven and then wander over to the Newhaven Market in the High Street for a bargain or two. And don't forget those Jumble Sales at the Riverside Hall for Mencap and at South Heighton Hall. Both start at 10.00am.

Saturday night and Newhaven Fort is the venue for The Angel and the Fiend, part of the Brighton Fringe Festival. This traces the life and loves of a fashion model, photographer and surrealist muse, Lee Miller. Doors open at 7pm).

Meeching Amateur Dramatics contine the run of "Cash on Delivery" at the Meeching Hall at 3.00pm and 7.30pm.

Back on the music front and Kangaroo Juice are at the VBar from 8.30pm onwards and this week's top band according to our Music Man Sam is The Black Fields at The Ark from 8.00pm.

Sunday and it's the Tide Mills Monthly Beach Clean-up from 10:00am to noon. Just turn up and start picking up.

There is the Seaford Rotary Car Boot Sale at Martello Fields, Seaford. No time advised.
