DECISION DAY FOR NEWHAVEN EASTSIDE DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS


May 16 2012.

Next Wednesday, 23rd May, is an important day for Newhaven as the Lewes District Council Planning Applications Committee meets to make the important decision for Newhaven about whether to grant planning permission for the proposed Asda store and Barratts homes development on East Side, or  the food store, transport interchange and associated port improvements on Railway Quay.

This  meeting is taking place at Tideway School, Southdown Road, starting at 6.00pm and it is open to the public.

Everyone is welcome to attend and listen to the debate and see democracy in action.
