Brilliant classic rock band Full House are playing at The Cinque Ports in Seaford tonight from 8.30pm. If you like Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Cream, Deep Purple, then you will like Full House. See you there!


Shake off those April Showers blues - The sun is out, the weekend is here and, as ever, there is plenty to do here in the Haven.

Truly brilliant classic rock band Full House are back in the Haven and playing at The Cinque Ports in Seaford tonight from 8.30pm. If you like Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Cream, Deep Purple, then you will love Full House.

On a quieter note, Seaford Folk Club presents Barber and Armer a top-rated duo from Brighton. Wonderful musicianship and harmonies. See them at the Royal British Legion Club from 8.00pm.

Over in Newhaven DJ Sam aka Fresh Functions is at The Ship from 9.00pm and The Fabulous Baker Boys are at The Hope Inn from around 8.30pm.

Saturday morning starts with a work out a the Zumba Fitness Class from 9:30 - 10:30am at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven, then wander over to the Newhaven Market in the High Street for a bargain or two.

There is a Seaford Historic Guided Tour at 10:30am. Meet at Seaford Tourist Information Centre, 37 Church Street, Seaford. Tours are at least one hour long. Tickets £5. Seaford Saturday Night starts with Tongue & Groove playing at the Constitutional Club from 7.30pm with all proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. For tickets telephone 01323 891614. Staying in Seaford, Cold Heat are playing a mix of rock, blues, funk, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, AC/DC, Joe Bonamassa, Santana, ZZ Top and more at the V Bar from 9.00pm and top local covers band Welcome To Nutsville are playing at The Shore Bar from 9.30pm till 'late' - Does that mean early...?

Over to Newhaven and it's Karaoke with Brian Winsor at The Ship from 9.00pm and a real recommended 'must see' from Sam, the Haven News Music Man, if you are a Blues fan, is Something Blue at The Ark from 9.00pm.

The rain is due back on Sunday, so get something for your boat, or at least you could wander along to the Newhaven Yacht Club for the Beaulieu Boat Jumble from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
