HAVEN CYCLISTS BRAVE THE WEATHER FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS

March 18 2012.

A fantastic turnout of 89 Newhaven and Seaford based cyclists braved yesterday's wet and misty weather to cycle the 20 miles from Ditchling Beacon along the South Downs to the Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Lorna Allen, who organised the event with husband Clint, reported that the fastest time was an incredible 2hrs 1 minute, although the 'fun' riders took a little longer.

There were many tales of spectacular crashes, punctures and wet underwear, and hopefully we will be able to bring you a full report and name check for all the teams and riders later in the week.
