Preparations are being made for the annual Artwave Open House Festival, taking place across the Lewes District from Saturday 25th August until Sunday 9th September 2012.

Artwave is co-ordinated by Lewes District Council and is a not-for-profit visual arts festival which promotes local art and creativity by encouraging professional & amateur artists and craftsmen to showcase their work. Established in the 1980s, it now covers the whole of the Lewes District, including Newhaven and Seaford.

The Artwave office welcomes applications from individuals and groups wishing to open a studio, living room, conservatory, gallery, garage, garden, smoke house, mill house, tea room, and pretty much any other accessible space suitable for visitors to experience engaging pieces of art and craft, throughout the Lewes District!

Entry forms are now available for download from the Artwave website at www.artwavefestival.org  and need to be returned by Wednesday 4th April. All events must be located within the Lewes District.
