MAYOR’S MAD MARCH MARATHON OFF TO GREAT START

The Mayor of Seaford's Mad March Marathon got off to a great start yesterday by raising £150 for WAVES Family Support Service at the monthly Seaford Chamber of Commerce business breakfast.

Chamber of Commerce Immediate Past President Gerri Ori welcomed the Mayor of Seaford, Councillor Linda Wallraven, and her Consort, Mrs Liz Holland along with the Chairman of WAVES, Mr Richard Plowman, who gave a short talk about the work of WAVES in the Seaford Community.

Organisations hosting events for the Marathon Month include the Seaford Musical Theatre Juniors, Bishopstone Village Hall Committee, the Constitutional Club, M&Co, The Royal Society of St George Seahaven Branch, Seaford Family Focus Group, Seaford Town Football Club, Seaford Lecture and Literary Club, Seaford Horticultural Society, NPS Lions and Lionesses and the Seaford Rugby Club.
